Solutions Affiliate Overview
We’re glad to have you aboard!
As mentioned, your company was hand-picked to join our Solutions Affiliate Program because we recognize that you are among the very best consultants in the world for this emerging market.
But we also know that each Solutions Affiliate brings different areas of expertise to the table – as well as different ways of wanting to do business.
So this page is a quick overview on some important items you need to be aware of as a Splashmetrics Solutions Affiliate. Let’s start with a few common scenarios, and what you can expect in each:
These scenarios were detailed in the Solutions Affiliate Program Agreement you signed.
Scenario 1: You only provide your services to our customers at our request.
In this case, you will contract through us, to only provide your specific services for our customer(s). You will not be marketing and/or selling our SaaS products to your clients, or any other third party. And, therefore, you will not participate in the Marketing Affiliate Program. However, as you know, we had you sign up for that program anyway. This is because, first, this is how we can digitally pay you for those services via the portal. But second, in most cases, our Solutions Affiliates’ clients/customers eventually express a need for Splashmetrics. And this approach ensures a seamless way for you to satisfy those needs of your client if and when they come up, sharing in that revenue. That said, your participation either way is completely up to you.
Scenario 2: You provide services to a client/customer of yours who, on your referral, directly purchases our SaaS Products.
In this case, you will receive your commission for your client’s purchase via the Marketing Affiliate Program as outlined in that agreement. Then, since it is your client, you will contract directly with them as usual to provide your services as needed.
In the event you do need to provide other related services to your client in which you lack expertise, you can contact us to put you in touch with other Splashmetrics Solutions Affiliates as needed to cover those services. We can discuss how that contracting and billing needs to happen.
Scenario 3: You will take care of everything on behalf of your client/customer.
In this case, you will be acting as the full-service agency/agent for your client. Sometimes that means that you will be actually purchasing the Splashmetrics products on their behalf.
In this case, instead of receiving your Marketing Affiliate Program commission, you will receive a discount on that purchase in the same percentage as that commission.
Then you will provide your services directly to that client – and bill them directly as usual. We won’t be involved in that.
For a refresher, this scenario is detailed in paragraph 4.d of the Solutions Affiliate Program Agreement you signed.
As mentioned above, in the event you do need to provide other related services to your client in which you lack expertise, you can contact us to put you in touch with other Splashmetrics Solutions Affiliates as needed to cover those services. We can discuss how that contracting and billing needs to happen.
Important! The End User Agreement
As noted in your Solutions Affiliate agreement, when you act as the agency/agent on behalf of your client (e.g. – Scenario 3 above) and purchase our SaaS products on their behalf – in addition to the other requirements in these various agreements, you must provide us information on your client’s End User so that we can set them up a user account in the platform.
You can easily provide that information to us via the Solutions Affiliate End User Agreement page after the purchase is complete. And please note that this user account will count against the total number of Platform Users noted in your Splashmetrics Package.
We will also email a link to this End User Agreement page to you as part of the provisioning and onboarding process after the purchase.
Scenario 4: You want to become a Splashmetrics Certified Solutions Partner so we can refer more business to you.
In this case, you will work closely with us to become a fully certified Splashmetrics Solutions Partner. This way, in addition to working with your own clients, you can increase your revenue even more by providing turn-key services such as onboarding, planning, implementation, etc. to additional customers we refer to you.
